Outreach Summer 2024

Once again, the Outreach Committee is volunteering at the food bank. The dates for this year are August 3rd and August 17th. A sign-up sheet for the August dates will be up in the Narthex. The hours for volunteering are from 9:30 am to approximately noon. If you have any questions, please contact Anne Marie Verdiramo.

The Food Bank is in great need of food items, paper goods, and toiletries for our neighbors in Somerset County. Cash and checks are also greatly appreciated. There’s always a container on the stairs leading up to the choir loft. Any questions, please contact Kathy Shanklin.

When: After 10 am Mass

Bring a potluck dish, your pool towel, and a bathing suit!

Please email Alison if you can make it, and what your potluck contribution will be.  She will email a list out to everyone as the date gets nearer.

Senior Moments Group – June Meeting

The next SENIOR MOMENTS MEETING will be held as follows:

DATE: Tuesday, June 18

Place: Juanita’s Home

Time: 12:00 PM

Lunch: Will be provided by Rocco’s Pizzeria, Bedminster (Check Rocco’s Menu on line  and email your choice to Juanita before June 17. Juanita will place the total order for delivery).

At this meeting, we will discuss the possibility of starting a BINGO Game at St Martin’s. A guest from St Mary’s Byzantine Church will be attending to explain what we must do to establish a game.

Parish Pride Family Picnic

We are planning the Parish Pride Family Picnic for Sunday, June 30th. The church will be providing hamburgers, hotdogs, beverages, and plenty of lawn games. Please email Alison if you plan to attend and can bring a side or dessert.
